Go Spiritual India, Approach Entertainment to Launch Krishna Bhajan ‘ Mere Kanha Lauta De’

Go Spiritual India, Approach Entertainment to Launch Krishna Bhajan ‘ Mere Kanha Lauta De’

By Go Spiritual India Team

Prem Agrawal, a Mumbai resident of Mathura origin, is an ardent Krishna devotee. Though he has multiple identities that include being a scientist, a highly successful businessman, a writer, yogi, an ardent Krishna devotee but above all of that being a philanthropist. His take on Lord Krishna is a very different one. He sees Lord Krishna in his all the facets form integrated into one form that is called as Virata. The various facets of Krishna’s character that Agrawal has written about include that of being a Yogeshwara the Master of Yoga, a divine musician, a lover,  and that of Leela Pushottam! Interestingly, Agrawal considers Lord Krishna as a great scientist too, something none before Agrawal has ever spoken about!

Prem Agrawal, Brijwasi Biotech

Agrawal has grown up playing in the streets of Brijbhumi Mathura, has narrated the memories of Lord Krishna in the form of hymns during his childhood days. Prem Agrawal has written very meaningful lyrics of ‘ Mere Kanha Lauta De ‘ and the lyrics are an evidence to his committed devotion to Krishna as well remind us of his childhood memories of the days spent in Mathura. The lyrics are deep and meaningful to touch one’s soul and make the listeners quite emotional.

Go Spiritual India and Approach Entertainment have come together on a single stage to enliven the beautiful lyrics of this bhajan. Our sister organisation Approach Entertainment is also preparing to shoot a video on this bhajan in Mathura. Presently the music score of the Bhajan is under process and the Bhajan will be recorded soon. The music of the bhajan is being composed by Amol Patil.  ‘ Mere Kanha Lauta De’ shall be released soon across all digital platforms, music and spiritual TV channels.

It may be pertinent to remind here that the charm and multiple facets of Krishna’s qualities make him worldwide the most popular deity in Hinduism. The whole life of Krishna right from his childhood when the Bal Gopal form was synonymous with mischiefs to his later life as a Karma Yogi and a spiritual preacher are very inspiring and mesmerising for anyone delving into his life!  Even the childhood of Krishna was so eventful.  The killing of demon serpent Kalia, and that of Putna the lady demon were not the only killings he had to undertake in his childhood. In fact, he had to kill many demons in his childhood including his own uncle Kansa, the king of Mathura. Even as a lover, Krishna left an undeletable impression among his devotees and this form was known as Kishan Kanhaiya. But Meera became addicted to his form that she drank the poison and was merged into the divine form of her god, Krishna.

As a musician, the sound of his flute mesmerised everyone from humans to cows and the deer. For yogis or seekers of truth, he is Yogeshwar, the master of Yoga and as a spiritual guide, he imparted the deep knowledge of Gita to his disciple Arjun and this message of Gita has become a very powerful message in spirituality. His devotees ranging from Surdas to Rahim and Ras Khan, were so much inspired by his life and deeds that their writings on Krishna themselves became immortal works of the pen.

Krishna’s later life as the Dwarka king and as someone who led the Pandavas in the epic battle of Mahabharata is very unique and unparalleled, but Prem Agrawal is more enamoured with Krishna’s early life in Mathura and Vrindavan. It may be pertinent to remind here that Agrawal himself is from Mathura. Agrawal remains a devotee of Krishna as Kanhaiya. And he worships Krishna as the child and as a scientist! Agrawal, has spread the taste of Mathura to the whole country from the outlet of Brijwasi, is so inspired by Krishna that he has penned hymns in praise of Krishna. He makes it clear that his hymns are not in respect of the King of Dwarka, the later form of Krishna but dwell on Krishna’s life as Gopal of Mathura. Approach Entertainment is also preparing to shoot a video on his bhajan and the video will have a grand launch soon.

It may be pointed out that Agrawal, born in Mathura, the birth place of Lord Krishna, is a leading businessman based in Mumbai. He may be having his Brijwasi outlets across the country but has remained a Brijwasi in his mindset. Today he successfully runs a chain of sweets store outlets under the brand-name Brijwasi. But he is not just a businessman only. He is a philanthropist and also a scientist with a research mindset. He has garnered a lot of praise from the government with respect to his project for bio toilets for the Government of India. Now that he is 72 years old, he has decided to retire from business and research activities and devote his life to devotion, philanthropy and religion. This is nothing new for Agrawal as he had been involved in religion and charity, since an early age. But his devotion to Krishna takes a new turn as he joins hands with Go Spiritual India, to intensify his spiritual and religious work. He tells that on many occasions he feels Lord Krishna inside himself.

Prem Agrawal, a fan of Kanha’s Bal Leelas, has devoted his Bhajans to this form of Krishna. Prem Agrawal believes that Kanha was a genius since childhood and was a very knowledgeable scientist. But for his friends he was a very humble soul who cared for his devotees and friends so much that he did not hesitate from washing the feet of his poor friend Sudama and even acquired a role of charioteer to his disciple Arjuna during the Mahabharat battle. In Agrawal’s opinion, there is no other example of such a powerful person who had conquered his ego so easily and so gracefully, anywhere in history.

Sonu Tyagi, Founder and Award Winning Director, Approach Entertainment and Go Spiritual India, says that the work on the album of Lord Shri Krishna with Prem Agrawal is in full swing and the the video would be shot soon enough. He says that Go Spiritual and Approach Entertainment are two different platforms but there is spirituality in this bhajan as well as entertainment which is why both the platforms have come together for this project. He says that he also to shoot more music videos based on other bhajans of Prem Agrawal.

Go Spiritual India Launches Nationwide ‘Go Vegetarian’ campaign on World Vegetarian Day

Go Spiritual India Launches Nationwide ‘Go Vegetarian’ campaign on World Vegetarian Day

On an auspicious day of World Vegetarian Day, which is observed every year on 1 October, it is perhaps a perfect time to look inward and ask ourselves whether we really need to kill animals and eat them! Time to think if this is required at all for us humans to eat meat! Let’s just for a while go into the history of the World Vegetarian Day! This day was established in 1977 by the North American Vegetarian Society (NAVS). Since then, this day has been observed across the world with a powerful message of compassion and kindness towards animals. Though, the progress is a little slow but surely enough, the vegetarians and vegans are growing in numbers across the world!

India’s Leading Charitable Spiritual Organization, Go Spiritual India has launched nationwide ‘Go Vegetarian’ campaign this World Vegetarian Day. Go Spiritual India is a charitable spiritual organization working for Philanthropy, Spiritual awareness, Social causes, spiritual tourism, media, organic, spiritual events, mental health & wellness.  Go Spiritual India has been campaigning on the issue and appealing to the whole lot of conscious people to adopt vegetarianism as the way of life.

Go Spiritual India is founded by award winning writer / director and producer Sonu Tyagi who has his background in Film, Journalism, Advertising and Psychology. He is also heading India’s Leading Films Productions & Celebrity Management Company, Approach Entertainment. He has been associated with the spiritual world for a long time. Go Spiritual India will reach out to world people on a large scale through Media, social media & digital, films, events & its volunteers across the world. The objective will be to promote vegetarianism, kindness to animals & Indian spirituality in the World. The organization is also launching Go Spiritual India Digital magazine soon and plans to launch print magazine and Go Spiritual India web TV later.

One typical question that may come to anyone’s mind is what connection does spirituality have with vegetarianism?  Besides being totally avoidable violence and cruelty to the animals meat industry leaves very strong negative footprint on our ecosystem and sustainability. The Indian concept of spirituality is based on a firm understanding that all living beings have soul, the Atma, which is actually part and parcel of Param Atma the Supreme being or what we can call God. As all the souls are part and parcel of same Param Atma, they are all linked to one another in a way. Spirituality is basically a journey of evolution and growth of consciousness with the ultimate goal of merging the Atma with the Param Atma as one! Hence compassion and detached love towards all living beings is very important part of anyone’s spiritual journey!

Eating healthy and eating guilt free is integral part of spiritual journey!  Whether one accepts it or not, slaughtering animals for food and then eating the dead carcases of them does bring in a sense of guilt. A truly compassionate person will always feel guilty even if that guilt is there only in his subconscious mind.

The guilt acts as a barrier in one’s spiritual growth. Spirituality leads us to respect the entire creation of God, the nature and it needs to be remembered that animals are integral part of the nature. Kindness towards animals is borne from the innate compassion that humans possess though they may be deliberately ignoring that innate quality within us.

It is with this understanding that Go Spiritual India has been promoting and advocating vegetarianism and kindness to the homeless animals in India. On the occasion of World Vegetarian Day, Go Spiritual India plans to carry forward this campaign even wider and across the world. It may be recalled that Go Spiritual India is a leading spiritual and social service organisation engaged in social service, spiritual awareness, spiritual tourism, media, organic, mental health and wellness.

Therefore waging a campaign against presence of dead animals in someone’s food plate is of an innocent or innocent person in its food plate, Go Spiritual India insists on adopting vegetarianism. Holding the torch of philanthropy and spirituality, ‘Go Spiritual India’ emphasises on the service towards the poor and the underprivileged ones including the animals. Spirituality teaches us to be kind not only to mankind but to the whole nature. It teaches us to respect the nature and the entire creation of the Supreme Being, the God.

Founder of Go Spiritual India, and a writer/filmmaker/director, Sonu Tyagi is highly committed towards this mission. He reiterates that this organisation has been established on a mission mode and his basic objective is to spread awareness towards the greatness of Indian culture and traditions in respect of spirituality and compassion. He says that the Organisation will take its spiritual philosophy as well as ‘Go Vegetarian’ campaign after India to the world level. Through the Go Vegetarian campaign, people will be encouraged to be vegetarian and have compassion for the animals.

Sonu Tyagi, Founder, Go Spiritual India & Approach Entertainment

The organisation will also engage volunteers from the media, social media from across the world and also make digital content and films on a large scale towards this mission.  It may be recalled that Go Spiritual India is already engaged in charity and social work towards eradication of hunger eradication and distribution of essential items for the poor like blankets etc. This campaign has been named Bhookh Mitao Campaign through which food is being distributed to the hungry and needy people. Along with food distribution for free, the organisation is also encouraging people to donate food items. Fortunately, this work of the organisation is supported  and aided by several corporate organisations and spiritual persons.

Every year, before the onset of winter, Go Spiritual India also runs a blanket donation campaign for the homeless people, especially in the major cities and towns of North India. The organisation has already conducted blanket donation campaigns in Delhi, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Jammu, Jalandhar, Shimla, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and other cities. The condition of homeless people remains very pathetic in the harsh winters and many people also lose their lives due to extreme cold conditions that prevail in the Northern India region during the winter months. For the distribution of blankets and other warm clothes, volunteers join hand with the Go Spiritual India in  a big way. People from across the country contribute and cooperate in the auspicious work of blankets and food distribution. Even several Bollywood celebrities have also supported the campaign.

Along with service towards the mankind, Go Spiritual India has made a strong case towards showing compassion to animals. This message of mercy towards the animals is getting notable support and many people are taking to vegetarianism and besides that also to adopting the compassion for all living beings.

‘Go Spiritual India’ is rapidly gaining fame through its philanthropical and spiritual activities. All the campaigns taken up by Go Spiritual India are getting popularity as well as the financial and logistic support from the people and therefore the organisation has gained a lot of momentum in recent time, reminds Tyagi. Gradually, the scope of ‘Go Spiritual India’ philanthropy is also expanding and helping hands are also coming forward. Many social workers have actively joined hands with the organisation and they are sincerely involved in activities ranging from collecting food to mobilising support for blanket donation. This time the mission ‘Go Spiritual India’ has targeted non-vegetarian food while calling for making the whole world free from meat-eating.

Tyagi stresses that efforts are being made to create a buzz to remove non-vegetarian food from people’s plates. He feels that consumption of non-vegetarian food is a health hazard and is the root cause for many diseases. He reminds that the ecological footprint caused by the meat trade is also very dangerous. He adds that any effort to justify taking animals’ lives with any is nothing but hypocrisy.

According to well known Social activist Prem Agrawal who is also associated with Go Spiritual India, the human bodies are not made by the nature to consume or digest meat. He reminds that while the carnivorous animals don’t chew but bite and gulp the food without chewing, all herbivores chew the food. Similarly, the humans also chew their food before ingesting simply because they have been made vegetarian by the nature. He also points out that as per the concepts of Ayurveda the ancient Indian system of medicines, vegetarian food is the food and this concept is also supported strongly by the Yoga in order to stay healthy. According to the Yoga concept, Human physiology is such that it is necessary to chew food before ingesting it and therefore the human body structure is not meant to eat meat. However a large percentage of people still consume meat across the world merely to satisfy their taste buds and to fulfill their temptation and greed.

Yoga Guru Navdeep Joshi believes that it is very easy to recognise that the human body is made for vegetarianism. If one keeps a spoonful of boiled rice or a piece of roti in the mouth without chewing it without any spices, then its taste becomes sweet in no time. Because the process of digestion of food starts from human saliva itself. This doesn’t happen with any carnivorous animal. In their case, process of digestion begins after the food reaches the stomach.  The teeth structure of the humans also augment this argument that humans have been created as natural vegetarians by the nature.

Tyagi has appealed to all to remove meat from their food plates and instead switch over to healthy food which is naturally vegetarian.
